A teaching promoted even earlier by Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad. This was the "religion" adopted by Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay), a fact never, ever pointed out by the press, especially his main PR man, Howard Cosell.

Bear that in mine the next time some retrospective or glorified news story praising Ali comes on.
