Complete BS. Yes, you can claim residency wherever you want but if you claim to represent a district in which you don’t reside that’s fraud, pure and simple.
I’d be interested to know exactly how many “representatives” actually live in the districts they claim to represent. These people are just opportunist con artists.

But, the practicality of maintaining two homes, rented or owned would be very expensive.
