CNN Poll: Bush Still Blamed for Economy -- But Obama Might Assume Blame by 2016

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: There is a CNN poll. This will just get you. This is a CNN poll: Majority of Americans still blame Bush for the economy, just like in the exit polling from the 2012 election.

Now, it's under 50% for the first time. If the trend line continues, by 2016... Is this not insane? If the current polling trend line continues, by 2016 more people will blame Obama for the economy, after eight years, than will blame Bush. Right now, a majority still blame Bush for the economy, and the theory of the pollsters is, because the formative event in everybody's mind that caused the economy to go south was the financial crisis in 2008 when Bush was in office.

So Bush caused that, and that caused all of this. And, by 2016, we'll have eight years of Obama, and at that point, if current trend lines continue, this... (interruption) Well, they remember it 'cause it so dramatically affected everybody. I mean, they lost their house, they lost their mortgage, they lost the toilet paper, they lost everything, and they were threatened with losing the world economy. Pretty big scare tactics were piled on people for a couple of months.

The ‘Rats were successfully able to blame Hoover for the effects of FDR’s economic incompetence for half a century or more. Don’t expect Bush to get off the hook any time soon.

Why wasn’t it Clinton’s fault for Bush’s economy?

Because no dramatic event occured in 2000, even though Bush’s campaign showed that the bubble had already begun to deflate. Clinton skated through by less than a year.

DemocRATs/liberals/progressives/Marxists (sorry for redundancy), and their willing accomplices in the media will blame Bush and the Republicans no matter what the metrics say, or what happens in the future.

I have seen it close up and personal...

You can show the communist/democrat/progressive etc. the data from FRED, or BLS, or Commerce, and they will say that data is manipulated by Republicans. And when you tell them that it is 0bama and his administration's numbers, they will call you a liar.

I hope the shooting doesn't start in my life time.

CNN is so full of snake crap. It is hard to believe that anyone would be stupid enough to believe these “polls”, but then they were stupid enough to vote for Obozo.

Blame Harry Reid. He helped turn it to sh!t and hasn't done a thing to help.

Heck Senator Obama was a partisan bum who stood in opposition to Bush strictly for party propaganda reasons (and now he even admits that was his motivation).

bring me ten of these people who still blame Bush. I will demonstrate that at least 9 of them are ignorant morons in under 3 minutes each. The 10th one may take me 5 minutes.

The RATs and O’ will blame Bush. They;ll say Bush messed it up, they'll claim he messed it up so bad, that they couldn't fix it in 8 years.

I hope the shooting doesn't start in my life time.

But, it will start, and it will get really ugly. I mean REALLY ugly.

This is asinine. Does anyone remember that Bush walked into a recession when he took office? And what happened? The DEMS are professionals at dicking things up and then placing blame. That's all they're good at.

Blame Bush

Did Bush command Bawney Fwank, Chris Dodd, Alan Mitchell, Jamie Gorelick and Tim Geithner to deliberatly crash the global lending industry via predatory lending and selling "toxic assets"?

And they’re also pretty good at blaming a Republican President for inheriting a recession like Bush did. The minute that man sat down that current recession was blamed on him.

Yep. There is no room for discussion with these people anymore. They are irresponsible, stupid, and couldn’t make it in a successful economy anyway because they are so stupid and irresponsible.

Of course, little Barry takes credit for the unemployment rates, because, well, he caused it. However, nothing negative is his fault. See how this works?
