I’m a Christian. Hell is a myth.

Bible Verses About Hell: 21 Eye Opening Scriptures
Fair warning: I’m only on my first cup of coffee. But didn’t someone somewhere once say something to the effect of “The devil’s greatest and most effective deception is convincing people he doesn’t exist”?
Even satan knows & believes in God...and hell.
What are your reason(s) for that?
Let me know how it is when you get there.
” We Christians do NO FAVORS to anyone by diminishing the reality of hell. “
Amen! We do a disservice to our Lord. Jesus died and went to Hell for 3 days for our sins. It is only by His shed blood that we are saved from going there.
I think there is a devil, or devils, but not hell. I don’t think it’s God’s plan to have billions of souls burning in a physical fire for eternity. I think He is more merciful, and he has other ways to punish us.
Excellent article
Unfortunately, too many of our churches are guilty of fostering this mentality.
The road to righteousness is a crooked and narrow path which is why few will make it to heaven.
Well then you will be unpleasantly surprised.
No disappearance of Hell we are in it.
C.S. Lewis said it well in his preface to the marvelous Screwtape Letter:
There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight.
I had some SDA in my Sunday school class... they got very upset every time I mentioned hell.
Don't know how you square that notion of no hell with the Biblical teaching. Your assertion of "billions of souls burning in a physical fire for eternity" is noted--and some teachers certainly look at that as a metaphor, but only because Hell will be very, very bad. Other teachers not there IS a resurrection of the body and a punishment to accompany that resurrection.
God's mercy also MUST be coupled with justice...otherwise, there is no real meaning to the term "mercy".
I urge you to study and think about the matter a bit more.
But what if you are wrong? What then?
Jesus talked about it, described it... and YOU call it a myth?
That pic (assume from 08?) shows how much she’s aged in the last 5 yrs.
Now fast forward to her retirement in 2025...she’ll make the 1945 Franklin Roosevelt look sprightly.
