She's right about immigration and the GOP.

But is she really any less a member of an elite than Will and the others?

No, it’s the history of both men. What you THINK he may or may not have done is speculation. What he did is on record.

We NEED immigration reform! The language spoken by most new legal immigrants is Arabic.

I’d much rather have it be Spanish.

Obama has totally distorted our legal immigration program (most recently, a couple of days ago, by announcing that people from the ME with material connections to ant-American terrorism could be accepted for “asylum”).

I keep saying what we need to do is examine our LEGAL immigration problems. Virtually all of our terrorist attacks have been committed by LEGAL immigrants, or ones who were at one time legal but may have overstayed their visas, or by native born Americans who converted to Islam.

I don’t think we need a general immigration bill, however; each item should be taken up separately.

George Will is not nearly as smart as he thinks he is.

“I think what we’re seeing here is a split inside the Republican Party between two staunch conservatives,” host Chris Wallace said

I almost spit coffee on my keyboard when I read this. Calling George Will a staunch conservative moves the ideology line 50 points to the left.

The Wall Street Journal has been very openly in favor of open borders since about 1982 or 84.

George Will lives in a $2,000,000 home in an upscale neighborhood in wealthy white Chevy Chase MD.

Spend some time there and you will notice that you will never see any illegal aliens walking about, unless they’re cutting his grass.

Will’s kids went to private schools where you don’t get punished for wearing a US flag on your tee shirt and you don’t have to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. And where they speak English.

Will, nor his wife, would never be seen at a day labor site or a 7-11 where she would be deluged with obscene remarks. Will doesn’t live next door to people who park 10 vehicles in various states of repair on the lawn and all over the street.

Will doesn’t worry that his job will be taken over by some Univision guy who will work for a quarter of the pay, without benefits.

Tonight, Will will be at a cocktail reception or theater event with like-positioned people in their formal togs jawing away about rednecks and Neanderthals like you who just don’t understand how important it is to give amnesty to a foreign invasion 40 times the size of what we invaded Europe with at Normandy.

Laura is right - nobody represents the people anymore. Certainly not the democrats, but also not the Republican establishment nor the millionaire talking heads like Will and Williams.

LOL. Interesting.

Can anyone tell me why some huge new Amnesty legislation needs to be passed to “fix” the “immigration problem?”

From down here in South Texas, I would say that the main thing broken is a willful determination by Government at all levels — Federal, State, County, and Municipal — to DECLINE to ENFORCE EXISTING IMMIGRATION LAW.

Changing that does not require an act of Congress. It is called doing one’s job. (You know, integrity, keeping one’s oath of office, etc.)

The DAY that the law begins to be enforced in a serious manner is the day that mass self-deportation will begin.

Whenever you hear someone say how “complicated” all this is, you know they are blowing smoke.

“So why have a border at all?” Ingraham said. “There is no will to enforce the border. There is no faith in this administration to do it. The Republican elites and the Democratic elites agree, and the people are revolting across this country.”

I'm typically not much of a Laura Ingraham fan but this morning she absolutely schooled Wallace and Will.

I think she has her finger firmly on the pulse of America. I don't know a single person (Dem/Rep) that's for this "immigration reform" bullshit.

Who's behind Immigration Reform? Companies like IBM, HP, Microsoft and Cisco for example, who are currently shedding American workers while rallying for increasing H1B's.

HP has announced layoff's of over 30,000 workers. Why are they for "Immigration Reform" and increasing H1B's if they're laying AMERICANS off? Same question for Microsoft, Cisco and IBM -- why are you quietly shedding American workers in America while demanding Congress increase H1B's to bring in cheaper foreign labor?!

It's not just the Democrats and Republican's pushing so-called "immigration reform" .... alot of very big high-tech companies are right on board with it also and it stinks to hell!

I don’t think there should be a big “reform.” I think individual issues should be taken up one by one (that is, extending work permits, rearranging quotas, etc.).

The big problem is that while everybody is going on about their obsession with immigration, Obama is busy waving his magic wand and legally admitting millions of barely literate Muslim immigrants from the countries that hate us most. And putting them directly on welfare.

I’d like to see somebody stop worrying about Mexicans - who are “illegal” only because we don’t have any appropriate way of legalizing them and because Obama has taken away from the Latin American quota, thus “illegalizing” those who would have been legal not that long ago - and start worrying about the real threat.

But it’s got to be done piece by piece.

I would have voted for Charles Manson over Obama. That election was a matter of getting a little of what you like as opposed to getting everything you don’t like, like the difference between going out with an ugly date as opposed to going out with Sasquatch.

Turnarounds dont count as Deportations.

If Turnarounds count Bush and Clinton must have deported 20 million illegals.

Laura was self assured and she is quick with the combacks, often intercepting the BS before Juan had a chance to state the Obama talking points.

George Will was ABC’s favorite RINO. His Rino tricks cannot work with Laura around.

With 1.7 million more Americans out of work during Obama’s years in office and the CBO’s conservative estimate of and an additional 2.5 million unemployed, why does George will say we need any more Immigration?

There are right now 26 million Americans who were forced to stop looking for jobs that don’t exist. Mr. Will says we have a crisis because baby boomers are retiring.

I am one of those retirees, but I personally know of people with masters in programming who can’t find a job, a vet with
experience doing nuclear maintenance on an Air Craft Carrier, who can’t get a job, and is going into HVAC repair.
I know several recent college graduate kids of friends who can’t find work. I know another super programmer who tells me the Indian guys that the firms are getting visas for are making it impossible for him to get a job because the programming jobs are being given to lower cost programmers living in dormitories working cheap.

Our legal immigration policy is hurting our citizens just as much as our illegals are, jut in a different way.

May I add that Phyllis Schlafly’s article posted on Drudge last week, states her research that Asian and Mexican immigrants are both big government groups much more likely to vote for handouts, and democrats who propose them.

Total BS! They are not entitled to be immigrants!
