The mayors of New York and Boston both plan to snub St Patrick’s Day parades in their respective cities because organisers continue to ban gay people from marching.
The Mayor of New York, Bill De Blasio, said he plans to boycott the parade because of the exclusion of LGBT groups. He is the first New York mayor in about 20 years to do so.
Boston Mayor Martin Walsh has also vowed to boycott the South Boston St Patrick’s Day Parade if organisers do not reconsider allowing members of the LGBT community to march.

If I were the parade organisers, I’d be thrilled that he’s staying away.
Yes...in both cases it improves the character of the parade!
Maybe they prefer marchers that can behave themselves and show up fully clothed? Gays have a hard time with that.

Well, St. Patty’s will certainly smell a lot better.
Just to clarify, the AOH (the NY parade organizers) do not ban homosexuals from marching in the parade. They are prohibited from carrying a banner denoting their homosexuality in the parade.
The press likes to leave out little details like this.
They will not be missed.

Total lie. I imagine quite a few gay people will march in both parades. What will not be allowed is yet another tiresome demonstration demanding that everyone celebrate sodomy.
Saint Patrick’s day is for the Gaelics not for the gay licks.

I’m sure they would be allowed to march if they put clothes on and stopped the public sex acts. Oh the defection and urination on fellow marchers would be better left at home.

Disgusting. New York’s Mayor Wilhelm (who at some point took a family name, de Blasio, because he thought it’d be a better seller) is not of Irish descent, but the Boston mayor certainly is.
Why is everything now all about gays, who are 2% or 3% of the population, all the time, every hour of the day, every day of the year?
Why do they keep calling him “Bill De Blasio” ?? His real name is Warren Wilhelm. He just changed it like all Marxists do. Like Stalin did, Lenin, Obama, Castro, Chavez, on and on and on. I think the only Marxist who never did was Lee Harvey Oswald.
Look, there is no ban on “gay marchers” who look, dress and act like everyone else
Because the fascists are hell bent on destroying the family unit. Just wait, they’ll start outlawing straight marriage.
