"The once consistent winters that I saw as a young kid are no more, especially near my home in Vermont,” ... When's the last time this dude was in Vermont?

They could start reducing the “carbon” causing the golbull warming by NOT flying all world several times a year and drawing crowds for their “look how good I am” demonstrations. (S)

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Geographically Sochi is farther south than the French Riviera. The weather they are having is perfectly normal for this time and place. Sochi was a stupid place to choose for the Olympics. I read somewhere that Russia had to promise the Olympic committee they could provide the needed snow before being granted the games.

Here’s the problem… “Rust never sleeps”.

Anthropogenic global warming has taken a hit in the last half decade, because not only have more people than standing up and speaking out against the hoax, but the deception has actually been exposed to the people in ways that it is difficult for them to ignore. And, when the economy gets bad, common sense about what we should be doing with our money does begin (at however a small pace) to kick in, and when people got a whiff of how much money liberals and other envirowhackos plan to take out of our pockets and give to international organizations to manage it, people do begin to germinate a thought in their own heads of what the global warming movement is really all about.

They recognize (when real money is on the line) that the whole thing is a giant hoax and a boondoggle… Basically, a redistribution of wealth, even though they may not recognize it as such.

I have to admit though, when I write something like that and go back and reread it, it sounds almost… Optimistic. It looks like those statements I’ve written give some kind of credit to the electorate, even though after the last two elections have developed a somewhat hardened contempt for the overall electorate.

That is all well and good, but here is the rub: the global warming crowd is not going away. It’s a form of liberalism, and if there’s anything that we’ve learned from watching the way liberals operate, is that they and their flawed ideology can be likened to a one-way ratchet.

They recognize that time is on their side, and all they have to do is be persistent. Every little piece of territory that liberals gain, is lost. It is rarely gained back, if ever. I use this analogy over and over again, of the boy using his fingers to plug holes in the dike. The boy trying to plug the holes in the dike is conservatism. We have to be on all the time, constantly vigilant, constantly doing battle, constantly fighting back, constantly trying to impede the progress of liberalism. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, conservatives have to keep their guard up to try to hold back the flood.

Liberals, on the other hand, get to take a day off. They all have to keep at it, because they know once that they get it, it’s not going to be given up and handed back (ideologically speaking of course) they can go home, sit down and have a beer, and then pick up what they were doing the next day, the next week, or even the next year. And they rarely if ever lose back ground in that process.

And that, in a nutshell, is the problem with combating the global warming hysteria and hoax. Like Chinese water torture, liberals slowly indoctrinate children, hammer away relentlessly at low information voters via the media, sometimes using a blunt force instrument by openly taking a side and making a statement, but more often, and more insidiously, simply shape the language in subtle ways that are picked up by people whether they know it or not.

So, even if today, there are people out there who might logically shrugged their shoulders and think to themselves “Eh, palm trees at the Winter Olympics in Russia… Who cares? Maybe it’s just little warmer there right now for some reason like… A warm spell.”

But liberals are fine with that. They can just sit there and wait. And they’re going to wait until the next big disaster, some big hurricane, some tornado, a plane crash caused by a thunderstorm, anything. A giant wildfire, a drought, famine, you name it.

When that happens, the liberals who have been sitting quietly with their whole stockpile of global warming hysteria tools packed in large canvas bags, will pull them out and begin plying their trade.

And when the time comes (and it will someday, because that’s the nature of nature) they will bang on this issue again, and again, and again, and again, until someday, there will be a hue and cry from enough people to make this hoax (and the millions of dollars of taxes and energy crushing legislation that goes along with it) a reality.

I know that sounds completely defeatist, but they have succeeded in making this scenario of anthropogenic global warming completely plausible, along with the concept that there is going to be catastrophic consequences if it isn’t addressed by large, international governmental bodies of some type.

I think that Jacques Chirac was completely on the money when he referred to international bodies such as the IPCC being the first step towards true global governance, which is really the end goal of all this crap.

Act how? Oh yea, invade America and remove our concrete floors and have us crap in a hole
that runs into a ditch and runs down the street.

Then charge us tax for the mule carts hauling our diseased carcasses to the mass grave site.
In order for the UN and the Dictators to "Get Even" with America, we must all die.

Buplic scholl assletes.

Not only is Sochi relatively far south, but the mountains, while having impressive verticals, are at fairly low elevations for ski areas.

"The once consistent winters that I saw as a young kid are no more, especially near my home in Vermont,” wrote US cross country skier Andrew Newell, who penned the Al-Gore-esque letter to the United Nations.

Go back home and re-live your childhood!
