I recently bought a Soda Stream, and it works quite well. The problem I have with it is that all but one ( Country Time lemonade) of the syrups I have found contain artificial sweeteners.

Artificial sweeteners other than saccharin give me a blinding headache, and I feel out of sorts for several hours after the headache goes away. It serves me right for not reading the label before I bought the syrups, but still, they have diet syrups beside the “regular” stuff, so I assumed...

So, now I have a fizzy lemonade machine. Oh well, I can make club soda too, I guess.

The last time I had a carbonated soft drink was the Fall of 1969, which coincided with the first and last football game I watched.

I am sorry to see the fedguv attack that stuff, but there were relatively few defenders on this site when some of us were attacking the war on tobacco.
