Rush is right. It’s been the environmentalists; not nature who have messed up and caused the water crisis in CA. Central CA or the San Joaquin Valley was and is irrigated desert. When the environmentalists divert that water; that is what is causing the problem.

Be fair, The string of towns around Palm Springs (all one big town on Hwy 111, basically) would look like the rest of the arid landscape if it wasn’t for a lot of sprinklers.
