Sex and Lies in Current TN School Textbooks
victoriajackson.com ^ | February 19, 2014 | Victoria Jackson

The current textbooks being used in public schools today, that your children are reading, memorizing and being tested on, are inaccurate, revisionist, anti-American, racist, climate change propaganda based on fake science, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, pro-Islam, Marxist, globalist, pro-Socialism/Communism, pro-homosexuality, pro-abortion, and sexually explicit. Below is a list of examples and… who wrote the Pearson Publishing textbooks, that TN schools are now using. (Related story, as of Dec. 2013, Pearson Foundation fined millions for violating laws. Story here.)

During August of 2013, scores of TN volunteers reviewed the 72 books on the State textbook list – 39% were declared acceptable for TN classrooms, 12% need major revisions to meet acceptable standards, many more need minor fixes.

Conclusion: “There is a mind-numbing degree of indoctrination (def: teach a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically) and (inappropriate sexual references/diagrams) found in the proposed textbooks.”

Here is a book called “It’s Perfectly Normal” on the 4th grade reading list. Below are photos I took from the book that concerned Teacher of 30 years Candy Emerson shared with me. Parents are not aware that this book is in 4th grade classrooms. Candy Emerson is currently running for a position on the Williamson County Schoolboard in an attempt to remove these books and Common Core from schools, and to remove apathy from the current school board.

As a hated teacher, this is why I use the oldest textbooks I can get my hands on. I told my boss the new textbooks are crap and they keep getting worse. She allows me to do pretty much what I want in this regard. Most of my textbooks are at least 15 years old. Not the best but far better than the junk that passes for high school textbooks nowadays.
If you haven’t seen high school history or economics textbooks lately think of a USA today newspaper and you have the general layout. Lots of pictures, very little text and the text they do have is of very poor quality as far as information goes.
Since my books are so old I am at the point where I have to buy them off of Amazon from used textbook dealers.

That is exactly what I figured.

No commitment to protect the kids you teach.

You’re the reason this country and the public education system is in the mess it’s in.

Go back to DU where you belong.

FR is for conservatives, not liberal, child abusers who justify this kind of thing.

I'm at work and my compnay blocks offensive material. Not that Ms. Jackson's blog is offensive, but I had to go to my smart phone to see what she is referring to. So I click the link and take a few looks at the material they are teaching our children and I agree. This is sick stuff.

Isn't it strange that any normal IT department will block out deviancy that borders on perversion and pedophilia, yet its OK to teach this to 9 year olds.

I wonder what would happen if someone took a picture from that textbook and texted it to a 4th grader?

First off I have never been on DU.

Second off the only ones not doing anything are YOU and the rest of homeschooling mafia.

You sit around patting yourselves on the back while the system goes down the drain.Mean while myself and real conservatives are fighting to save ALL the children, not just a select few.

And all this whining from the woman that has not had the wherewithal to get ANY degree of ANY kind.

Wow. And, just think, adults drew those pictures and wrote that text for 9YO children to see and read. And then a teacher makes that kind of book available to 9YO children.

Be careful, everyone: Those kinds of books are in the children’s sections at bookstores, too. Protect the innocence of your children.

They must be getting their kicks out of it.

And how do they get away with it?

If it were you or I, we'd be in jail or wearing an ankle bracelet with our kids in foster care.

Hey, I guess claiming to be an educator protects you from the consequences the rest of the unwashed have to live with.

That is porn, plain and simple.

This book has been around for some time. I guess Common Core is promoting it now.

‘Perfectly Normal?’ Planned Parenthood assaults children

“What book has quietly sold over a million copies, miseducates children about sex, and outrages many parents when they get hold of it? It’s Perfectly Normal, written by Robie Harris and illustrated by Michael Emberley, has been described as “pornographic.” That’s putting it mildly. It’s chock-full of watercolors featuring assorted sex acts and full frontal nudity. Most of the characters illustrated are pubescent boys and girls. The presentation would not be out of place on the walls of a ruined brothel in Pompeii.”

WASHINGTON, DC (CNA) - A self-described sexual health children’s book is so graphic in its contents that material from it has been banned from a state prison and several web sites.

The book, titled ‘It’s Perfectly Normal’, has been targeted by the American Life League (ALL) as completely inappropriate, especially since its instruction is aimed at children ages ten and up.

Endorsed by Planned Parenthood, it contains written descriptions and cartoon depictions of sex acts, including two pictures of teenagers engaged in masturbation. The text is dismissive of religious disapproval of masturbation and also discusses deviant sex acts.

Free copies of the book are distributed to children at an annual party sponsored by Planned Parenthood.

“How can anyone claim that this book is appropriate for 10 year-olds?” asked Jim Sedlak, vice-president for American Life League.

A few months ago a Washington State prison rejected a fund-raising letter that included censored “it is widely believed today that Christianity is a European religion which subsequently exported that continent’s culture to other countries. But the truth is much more complex.” images from the book for being “sexually explicit” and “obscene.”

The perverts pushing this need to be horse-whipped!

I truly loathe liberals.

Metmom, unfortunately, public school parents never think that it’s THEIR kid’s school where bad things happen. John Taylor Gatto mentioned this in one of his books, and he’s absolutely right.

Schools have become such strange places. A child cannot draw a picture of a gun, hold his fingers in the shape of a gun, or chew his pizza slice into a shape of a gun. But, pornographic books are made available for 9-year-olds. Bizarre.

“According to “My World History and Geography, Early Civilization thru Renaissance” Houghton Mifflin Harcourt:
The number of units on Islam 1
The number of units on Christianity 0
The number of units on Judaism 0
The number of chapters on Islam 5
The number of chapters on Christianity 0
The number of references to Muslims 219
The number of references to Christians 42
The number of references to Jews 26
The number of references to Muhammad 180
The number of references to Jesus 102

You can see the rest of the examples at the Textbook Tattler at the website TextbookAdvocates.com.

Guess who wrote these biased Pearson textbooks? “Pearson hired Shabbir Mansuri, and Susan Douglass (a convert to Islam) to review and consult on the material being written for textbooks. One problem is that both of these individuals are associated with the Council for Islamic Education, a front for the Muslim Brotherhood in America.”

Somewhere there’s a school board member or textbook editor getting a giant woody at the idea that NINE YEAR OLDS are learning this stuff.

Frankly Scarlett I think you are on to something.
