And the pattern is this: It doesn’t matter which establishment Party is in power; the progressive inside “leaders” work together to grow government and make themselves and their friends rich in the process.

Both parties are the same. Neither represent the people - except, their small set of friends that they exchange our money between.

Craig Shirley well documented that Reagan was running as a packaged GOP candidate in 1976 against Ford and lost every primary until the North Carolina voting where the Helms organization put an edge on Reagan’s conservatism and brought forth a victory. The Tom Ellis and Carter Wreen NC group dared to attack the incumbent president and unchained Reagan’s appeal.

The IRS Scandal must become a litmus test issue for conservatives. It is apparent that c rimes have been commited. The IRS has been used to act against people because of their political views. We must get to bottom of this. If the facts are exposed, all else wrong with Obama and the liberals is solved—bengahzi, ObamaCare, etc. If an Republican does not support immediate appointment of an special prosecutor, they should be voted out of office, ridiculed and shamed.

Although the specifics change, conservatives have known for a long time that the Washington D.C. power establishment is totally corrupt and that the establishment Republicans are just fine with expanding government power, as long as the GOP elites get their turn at running things.

Despite the denials and attempts to portray the Tea Party as a fringe group that is irrelevant, it's obvious that the Tea Party is a threat to the GOP establishment and they are more than willing to see the corrupted IRS attack them any way possible to weaken the movement and discourage others from attempting to fight the GOP status quo, which works so well for the establishment elites.

Have we had enough, yet? This should be the kind of 'news' that motivates Republican voters to 'throw the (establishment) bums out' (of congress) in November as they've long since abandoned any pretense of working for the people, much less defending conservative values.

The logical extension of this is that the only reason to vote is for narrow self interest. Whoever promises you free stuff, vote for them.

I don't have much problem with that characterization.

GOP - crime family.

Dems - Satanic cult.

As I posted yesterday.....

If this is true, then we have a governing body which totally ignores and rebuffs the will of the people to partition for redress via the political process.
This my FRiends IS Tyranny (yes, with a capital (”T”)
And I think we all know what Thomas Jefferson had to say about this subject.
A Second party is not the answer, the normal political process has been destroyed. A second party organization process will be handled just like the Tea Party.
I think we have now moved beyond the tipping point.
We have been patient not wanting to take first action, however this option has been taken from us.
God Help Us All.....

"The Washington Republican party is no longer a political party in the way we understand political parties. It more resembles a crime family than a movement of ideas."

Shirley was commenting on the charge that the reason Congress has not gotten to the bottom of the IRS targeting of conservatives and Tea Party movement groups is because the establishment GOP wants the IRS to hobble these groups just as much or more than do the Democrats.

I couldn't agree more and have already said similar things here on FR.

The IRS scandal should be a litmus test for anybody running for congress. Any congressman who sits on his dead ass over this is dead to me. We’re heading to fascism fast.

The GOP-e is just another buracracy that doesn't actually want to do it's job - it just wants to keep it's job.

Worst case, when a republican is elected, they will be blamed by all the liberals now and they will act like it was never know before and the republicans will be forced to fix it with no one held accountable expect them.

Caddell said, "the reason is the establishment Republicans want the IRS to go after the Tea Parties. Got it?"

The GOPe is suicidal. The Tea Party people will work with the GOPe but the Democrats will annihilate the GOPe at any opportunity. So, who does the GOPe want to annihilate? The Tea Party people.

I traveled with a church group to Vietnam a few years ago. Our government appointed guide regularly extolled the virtues of the one party system. No kidding. She was a nice young lady, but she definitely spoke the (one) party line.
