Can't split the vote. If Cornyn doesn't get 50%+1 (and it looks like he won't), it goes to a run-off between the top two. That's how Cruz beat Dewhurst in the run-off, even though there were 6 challengers.

Seems like it the GOP liberals with the all or nothing mentality.
You aren't going to browbeat conservatives into voting for your liberal republicans.

Why should we read, let allow follow the advice contained within, a very poorly written article, full of sophomoric (at best) reasoning?
The irony, of course, is that an article pleading for the right to "recognize reality", does such a thorough job steadfastly avoiding it. The reality is simple: there are a sizable number of Republicans who refuse to actively oppose liberalism, and, in many cases, seem to support it. In addition, these charlatans do actively oppose conservatism, at every critical juncture. They are not a part of any solution -- quite the opposite, they are a major component of the problem.
Vote for Republicans solely to "win the senate" and you deserve what you get: a liberal/socialist country, with little to no real opposition (but you get to be oh so happy that we "won" the Senate!!!). Vote against those Republicans, and you at least have a chance of creating an effective opposition to liberalism (no guarantee, of course, but at least the chance is there).
We know what your choice is. Let us hope that the people in these critical states are somewhat wiser.

So you admit that you are trying to browbeat conservatives into voting for liberal republicans.

Well Stovall got my vote on the final analysis that Stockman is just running interference to keep as many arrows out of Dwayne as possible.

Stovall is getting my vote, too. You may be right about Stockman.

It would be funny if the run-off wound up being Stovall and Stockman, and Cornyn didn't get asked to the dance. ;)

That... would be... I don’t have a word for it. Overjoyed?

Overjoyed?
All you can say is you'd be overjoyed? It would be much more fun than that.....

Deciding between Stockman and Stovall has been quite tricky, with no nods, winks, *anything* from our TEA officers.
It’s like the Prime Directive: do not interfere with the natives. We natives, OTOH, would appreciate which NEW officers we need to commission.

A phrase: Singing the Hallelujah Chorus while doing backflips as the time/space continuum shatters.
That might do it, but it might need more to describe what the experience would be like (we WILL NOT speak of leg tingles).

Anecdote: in Lakeway, TX (entrepreneurial rich lakeside community West of Austin) there were two Cornyn signs among about 50. No Stockman or Stovall signs. This is an early voting location at an upscale grocery store.
Today, there were 10 Cornyn signs. I am seeing signs ripped up and Cornyn (ironically BLACK, as in WAKE) replacing them.
I work in this complex and watch campaign sign activity all day.
At the same grocery store about 20 miles away, there were 4 Stovall signs. Hijinx going on.

I have not seen a single corn hole sign or bumper sticker in Lago Vista. I did see one that said “Anyone but Cornyn” on a pickup the other day. No Abortion Barbie stickers either.
