Shutting down the valley’s agriculture for what, a fish? A non-commercial, non-native fish that takes priority over people. It's insane. My grandfather farmed on the Western side of the San Joaquin Valley, he had to stop because he couldn't get water from the state -- even though the state of California purloined a corner of his land for the Feather River project.

Part of the land is still in my family, but all of it is fallow.
