Walmart can swallow $315,000 easily. And it sounds like it was their fault anyway.

HUH? You are ridiculous. What was Walmart to do? Deny any benefits and then take a beating in the liberal media?

I agree with Kansas
Walmart was in a no win situation
but just because they can afford it doesn’t make it right
I think the SNAP people, whether state or fed should deduct the amount the welfare thieves overspeant until it is paid bak

on another angle. do we really think these welfare thieves won’t be reinstated?

Walmart chickened out in this, as all the shopkeepers I see do (Texas). Enablers.

Daily, I see infractions of culture and justice in the stores, no kidding.

Pushy foreign language speakers, managers drooling and tripping over themselves.

It is a disgusting display of cowardice and total dependence on the military for fighting for our culture and liberty.

It is disgusting.

Walmart had better eat this.

So if someone is rich and is stolen from then oh well, they had enough money anyway. Just, wow.

“And it sounds like it was their fault anyway.”

Walmart had some fault due to the tech glitch but there’s no excuse for these leeches to pirate and steal from the system. The good news is that these clowns obama money will be taken from them. Hope these pukes starve..

Ya. In the end, I wonder if it would just be passed on to the consumer.

And it sounds like it was their fault anyway.

That arguable, but for sake of discussion, less assume it's true.

Which is cheaper, eating the $300k, or rebuilding a store burnt down by feral humans?

Walmart should have imposed a reasonable limit.

What am I saying? Should these cards exist at all? I dunno enough about EBT cards and who gets them.

The person who decided to honor the unlimited SNAP cards likely saved lives. When gibsmedats riot, they take no prisoners. Just the store damage alone would have been more than the SNAP overages.

Walmart would have needed ten times their usual security.

The computer "glitch" was discovered when someone overran their available funds, realized it, and was not flagged by the computer. Word quickly spread by ObamaPhone, and the store was overrun by minority shoppers within a short time.

When the store recognized the problem things quickly got ugly when they tried to reign in purchases. To prevent severe civil unrest Walmart just ran the cards.

I do not understand how any of this can be considered Walmart's fault.
