In 1974 one of the Articles of Impeachment against President Richard M. Nixon was the threat to use the power of the Internal Revenue Service against political enemies.

But President Obama actually CARRIED out that threat, as we have seen from the deliberate harassments of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) conservative political groups and deliberate IRS income tax audits of any person perceived as an enemy of the Obama Administration (who's to say that the IRS has audited conservative talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, Michael Medved, Mark Levin, etc. every year since 2009?).

It is this very abuse that is a huge factor in my favoring of replacing the income tax with FairTax<>/i>.

We can NEVER be a FRee society so long as we have an income tax and an IRS!
