I’ll trade you some cold for some rain.
We topped out at 12 degrees today and its going to be below zero tonight with -20 wind chills, even colder tomorrow.
Places that don’t get much rain tend to wash away when they get a lot. I was in El Paso for a 4 day rainstorm that was nothing worse than what occurrs frequently in the mid-west. Places that had never flooded in the last 50 years did so, the streets were unnavigable with rubble washed onto them and the blockbuster near my house split in half and washed away. What the rest of the country would consider a good hard rain did billions in damage and set the standard for a 50 year storm.
Oh the Humanity!
