The 'team' doesn't elect Cruz. Me an hundreds of thousands like me do. He's not going anywhere.

I have a question for Texas FReepers.

I’ve been reading various posts about the Texas election (early voting and voting day on Mar 4). This article and others say Cornyn and Stockman. From what I’ve been reading, Stovall is very popular among TX FReepers. Do you know why at least some of these articles only mention Stockman and not Stovall? I’m just curious.

Thanks in advance.

TRUE, HE IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE. He will remain the isolated senator from Texas much like Bernie Sanders is the isolated democrat/socialist from Vermont.

That plays well in Texas and thank God for it. But although I would overwhelmingly support a Cruz Presidential run, I think he's been demonized too completely on the national scale as an extremist to be elected to the top job. The single exception would be if the nation realized that in order to regain some semblance of normality we needed a POTUS that will go as far right as Obozo was left.

That would drag the country right back to a position of being center-right, exactly the status quo ante and the place where our country is most prosperous, economically. We'll get there IF we can elect a good conservative who will immediately kill all the regulations the RATs have imposed on the energy industry and put folks back to work while dropping the price of gas to about $1.50 a gallon.
