The Ukrainian Parliament voted to remove the President under existing laws, not force of arms. In fact, the ousted President's own party voted against him. n the vote, parliament also moved to have early elections on May 25. In a deal brokered Friday to stop the violence, early elections were set for December.
Lawmakers said the move to impeach was necessary. "Yanukovych is not capable of fulfilling his presidential duties," said opposition lawmaker Oleh Lyashko. Lawmakers will also consider banning the president from running in upcoming elections.

The elected leader of Ukraine violated every promise he made to Ukrainians and signed a deal with Russia which would make Ukraine beholding to Putin and his financial assistance. The people protested this 180* turn from what was promised. Then the democratically elected Leader called on military snippers to shoot down in the streets his own constituency. The patriots of Kiev then did something our Founders would have understood. They watered the tree of Liberty.
