We invaded Grenada to stop the Soviets from building a military base there.

So by aiding Georgia and Ukraine, is that not the same thing as what the Soviets were trying to do in our backyard?

I do see some similarities. But we are not the country we used to be.
Europe is being invaded. They've had a free ride for a long, long time. If Europe wants to oppose the Russian bear, then they can do so. I say the US should leave it alone this time.
