Now that tens of thousands of gun owners in Connecticut are in direct violation of a hastily-passed gun control law, a video of a fed-up Navy veteran warning lawmakers that he “will not comply” with the law is just going viral. As previously reported by TheBlaze, as many as 100,000 gun owners technically became felons overnight because they chose not to register their semi-automatic rifles and/or high-capacity magazines.
A man, identified as John S. Cinque, reportedly appeared at a public meeting in North Haven, Conn., on April 22, 2013, to confront lawmakers over the gun control law.
Cinque started by asking if the bill would have done anything to prevent the tragic Sandy Hook shooting. Eventually, Connecticut State Rep. David Yaccarino (R) replied, “maybe not.”

I saw this video. This gentleman was spot-on, and those two smarmy, arrogant pieces of garbage stood there lying through their teeth.
I hope he has a LOT of gunny friends up there in CT watching his back 24-7. If not, they damn well should be.

I can see that scenario too. What they may not understand, is when they take away everything a man has, and leave him with no hope for any future whatsoever, what do they have? A tiger by the tail, or thousands of tigers by the tail. They will get their Reichstag moment, as many decide to die on their feet, rather than live on their knees. I wish things were different, but I also see lots of dead people.

The gun owners are in a fight that they will have to fight by themselves. The State is serious about getting the guns. It will be the few gun owners against every law enforcement in CT plus what other States send in. How it ends remains yet to be seen.

don’t think so, Imagine some seriously or terminally ill people who lost their medical insurance under obamacare..with nothing left to lose they might well join the fight, as well as others who see this as the beginning of the end...yes its tangential but relates to liberty and choice.
I'll bet you're not the only one thinking that way. The CT state gov't really needs to soberly consider where they're pushing this.
Overwhelming force through the front door, rear door and a window or two will be breached. A flash bang or two followed up by a stream of jackboots screaming and pointing their toy’z right at your kids head.
One by one, they will take citizens down. It's just a fact. I feel bad for those in CT. The only hope is for folks to ban together, but not likely going to happen.

Anyway, this guy lays it on the line. Connecticut is becoming more like Germany in the 1930’s!! But I won’t give up and leave. This is my home state and that of my family for generations. Somebodies got to stand up for what’s right. Let the commies pack up and leave!!
The counter to all of this is for every one who is thusly attacked to immediately apply for all the welfare befits they can. And their spouses. And their children. And any other family member.
While it might take some time image the impact to the state’s budget if the welfare rolls are increased by a half million names. And, at the same time the number of people in CN that are paying payroll taxes are decreased by 200,000 names.
Another word for a person in a uniform driving a marked vehicle could be “target”. They must know this.
I hope they decline to participate and all stay safe.

It’s not going to a Weaver scenario. They have so many tools at their disposal. Why go to violent confrontation when that is the most likely to result in negative publicity?
It’ll be something like one day a cop pulls you over for a minor driving infraction (probably fabricated).
They put you in cuffs and execute a search warrant on your now empty house.
They find a mag or whatever, seize all your guns, charge you, let you out on bail.
Soon you end up as a convicted felon. Now if you try to acquire weapons, you are facing much more serious charges and the cops/DA don’t have to even bring up the original mag seizure, so they’ll be no sympathy from the public on that score.
Plus you’ve got all the other problems that go along with being a felon. Read “Three Felonies a Day”. They will follow, harass, hound you with impunity and pile up more charges. Plus you’ll have to deal with fines, possibly lose your house, car, child visitation rights, whatever.
None of this beyond the original charge/trial/conviction will make the news. Nobody will care. Nobody will help. At least that is the tyrant’s plan, and experience tells me they are probably right.
That is the likely scenario.
I believe that your scenario is how they will do it. They know that time is on their side and the American public is becoming more slave oriented each day.
