The rest of the world has learned to play the money game and extort “loans” from the U.S. Its how the U.S. deals with every problem. In the absence of any real two party solutions, just dole out a couple billion dollars and declare the problem “solved”.
The billion dollars is for Ukraine to give Putin.
Even our media would criticize Obama for paying Putin off if he did it openly.
I mean, what is he doing? Is he saying, “Here is a billion dollars and a Cheaper Than Dirt catalogue, have fun”?

It’s an emergency fund. The real help would be if Ukraine gets all or at least part of money stolen by ousted mob. By some estimates, the former president alone fleeced Ukraine for $70 billion, which would cover all costs of economic reform and recovery.

So if he’s found some nazis or nazi-admirers in Ukraine ( and they have a long history of some) - - - what’s the surprise that he’s send his little war hero delivery boy toy over there with a big sack of our $$$?
