I believe that the term "multiple-launch rockets" means that these were ICBMs. But never fear, Barrack Obama and Chuck Hagel are keeping watch. What could go wrong?

I believe that the term "multiple-launch rockets" means that these were ICBMs. Keeping in mind they went through language translations and all the technical comprehension of the journalists...
It probably meant capable of launching multiple rockets.

That seems kind of far, an MLRS with 150 Km range. Our old M270 had a range of about 40 Km or so if memory serves.

You are probably correct, a reloadable mobile launcher for a SCUD type sounds better.
Geez I hope they don’t have an MLRS with that kind of range now...
