I wish Trey Gowdy could take over for Issa. He’s a real go-getter and a rising star.
Unfortunately the Republican Party will work to slow him down and RINOize him. We make fun of the GOP but it still has powerful means to corral “wayward” free spirits with conservative convictions.
We really need a new party. The Republican Party is not the answer.
