He knows when to do the most damage. This is the FIRST defeat of one of Obama’s radical nominees, not failure to get cloture, for that is no more, but actual defeat!
This is the other side of the coin of the Nuclear Option that Harry Reid triggered. For senators can no longer hide behind cloture to defeat these nominees, they actually have to vote yes or no. And this guy was a bridge too far.
Ever the sleaze, even Reid voted no, eventually, to play even more games...
