This is for everyone here who thinks that the GOP candidate has to be perfectly Conservative - according to their specific ideas as to what a Conservative is.....

We, that is, our beloved country, is on the brink of total collapse both fiscally and morally. It is dismaying that good people, like Freepers, actually say they will not vote for this man or that man/or woman, because in one issue or another, the candidate is not perfect enough.

Well, all I can say is - the Democrat party candidate will surely be a Socialist or a clandestine Communist, and is highly likely to be anti-Christian/anti-Semitic or anti-God as well. They are also likely to be willing to continue to spend this wonderful nation into bankruptcy. And one other thing - the Democrats will do their best to lie, steal and buy votes to continue their destructive ways.

It simply defies my imagination that in the face of this terrible situation and danger, fellow freepers will actually rule out voting for some of our candidates who are 1000 times better than anything the Democrats will have on the ballot. Please keep an open mind. We have 24 months to look over the field of candidates. Surely we can stick together for the sake of our wonderful USA.

What you articulated is what I’ve been arguing in forums like this ( to no avail ).

Loo, I never did like Mitt Romney and did not support him in the primaries. But after he won, what would have been the alternative?

Some FReepers went third party (which in effect WASTED their votes ). Many stayed home.

There result was a 5 million vote margin ( fraud included ).

If we had Mitt at the helm, at least Obamacare would have been repealed by now. That alone would be worth the lesser evil that Mitt Romney is rather than this gargantuan evil that we have now.

But be assured, this issue will rear its head again this middle of year and in 2016.

I'd take marginally conservative. 40 years ago Juan McAmnesty and the pro-homo military and pro-homo adoption one term liberal governor of Taxachusetts, Mitt Romneycare would have been considered radical leftists. They don't even rate as pretend conservatives.

Perfect? Come on, now. Most of us would settle for vaguely acceptable, but even that seems to beyond the imagination of the GOPe.

1,000 times better, you say? I’m not sure Christie is better than Chairman Maobama by even a millimeter. He is certainly parsecs short of acceptable.

F the GOPe. NO MORE!
