President Obama is facing perhaps the most difficult foreign policy challenge of his administration with the confrontation with Russian President Vladimir Putin over Ukraine and disputed territory in the Crimean peninsula.
Obama last week said the United States would "stand with the international community in affirming that there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine." "If we use force," Putin responded this week, "we have received a request from a legitimate president." He also warned that Europe and the United States would pay a price of their own in the event of economic sanctions.

RUSSIA for natural gas! Those silly Ukrainians do not know how to ballance a budget so they will need bail outs every year! Russia will never give up the Criema —once in—never out. They took with them part of the Ukrainian Navy with them! They even named one of their new ships (built in France) Sovastapol—They named their ships after Russian cities—so this was planned for some time—the outser of the pro-Russian Ukraine President just gave them an excuse.
