Rick Perry had his shot, he melted in front of the cameras. He’s probably a decent fella, he couldn’t think on his feet. He is a weak debater. It’s Ted Cruz or Scott Walker for me.
Rick Perry has done a lot for his state. In all fairness, his health at that time was a factor in his performance. Nonetheless, I don’t believe he would be a strong presidential candidate.
Perry’s OK—Just keep him away from the bottle.

Rick Perry is a decent, Christian man. But, those of us here in Texas, who have endured Rick for 2 1/2 decades in politics, know that he is not the brightest light in the harbor. In Texas, the Governor is primarily ceremonious with Veto power. The real power in Texas politics in the Lt. Gov. (All you skeptics can do a Google or Bing search.) Rick Perry is NOT Presidential timber.
