I can understand such an argument, but Reagan was Reagan, with years of radio and TV practice as well, and Gov. Palin is Gov. Palin.
I think that in today's world of Socialist, Communist, Terrorist and Immigration challenges facing us within and without, concentrating on any such comparison is, at best, a nitpick, and at worst, a major waste of time as we try to protect this country from those who are hell-bent on destroying it.
Niggling and Naggling (are those words?) over Gov. Palin's voice during a speech in which she is attempting to convey who, what, when and where true patriots need to stand and fight isn't something I have any interest in, or patience for.
My thoughts exactly! The nitpicking over someones voice style is irritating when our country is going down in the flames. I’m pretty certain that most of the founding fathers had something about them that many today would frown upon because it wasn’t up to par to people’s preference or style
That was very well stated Col Freeper, you’ve laid out what I believe I was trying to convey. Thank you for eloquent message.
Nothing wrong with her voice at all.
People also complain about Coulter’s voice.
Mostly those that disagree (like to pick nits) with both of those ladies, but don’t have any counter to their excellent ability to communicate through the spoken word.
That being said, I can hardly listen to Greta Van NeoCon or Susan Estrich because their voices “ear”itate me...
