There are no "cop haters at Free Republic" but rather some who are a bit exuberant at times to point out they won't be bullied by punks with a badge and a gun, just because they have a badge and a gun. This is a normal and to-be-expected response of people who think individual rights, freedom and liberty are WAY more important than someone's vision of social order.
I must politely disagree in that I don't think you have posted on some of the threads where I dared to defend an officer in a controversial situation.
