Arab League chief Nabil Elaraby has urged Arab countries to take a "firm stand" against Israel's demand that the Palestinians recognize it as a Jewish state, calling it a deviation from an agreed-upon framework for peace talks.

Benjamin Netanyahu has always stated Israel's recognition as a State is a must. PLUS The Arab League was the body that asked the US to bomb Libya and help take out Gaddafi.

This is simply answered.

No to Saudi Arabia and 22 other countries as Muslim states.
The bombing begins in 5 minutes.

God, I wish I were President.

The key here is not "Israel as a state," which Arabs could probably be induced to accept, but "Israel as a Jewish state," which they will never peacefully accept.

Netanyahu's non-negotiable position is recognition of Israel as a Jewish state, while the Pali position is non-negotiably opposed to a Jewish state. And that is why Kerry and Obama and all their circle jerking around in the Mid East will come to naught, barring a betrayal of Israel or a decisive military solution.

Just proves again whets been obvious for almost a hundred years, the islamicists will not live in peace with , or respect the rights of , Jews or Christians. They are taught by their “ god” to suppress Christians and jews. Or to kill them by any means possible. Period. ( they go by these parts of their religion while ignoring the Koran verses about how God gave the land to the Jews and how they should help the Jews when they return ). They want to kill any Jews and Christians they can’t subjugate. Period. End of file. Anyone who doesn’t see this is blind, delusional, or both. Pray fir America.

Here's a solution Arab League chief Nabil Elaraby should consider: Rich Arab States should donate or buy land for their ‘beloved’ Palestinians.

Arabs can give Palestinians land near Israel and the whole world can watch as Arabs turn the desert into a modern country (without the aid of oil) - just like the Israelis did. Woudln't that be amazing?

I'm sure they'll make the desert bloom and we'll all stand in wonder at the fruit of their hard work and intelligence.Or they can attempt to play the victim card forever and the rest of us will look down on them and laugh.

The Muslims already control about seventy percent of mandatory “ Palestine “. It’s called Jordan. That’s more than enough (especially considering all the vast additional territories they’ve seized from other peoples). They have far more land now than they can ever need, even with their Polygamy.

The last thing we need is for the Muslims to continue their aggressive or expansionist ways, trying to take over or subvert Europe, America, parts of central and South America , much of Africa and Asia etc. everywhere they go they create wars or terrorist attacks or other serious problems for innocent “ infidels” like us. Enough of this krap already!

I doubt Palestinians want an opportunity to 'make the desert bloom'. I think they want to steal the work of the Israelis.

Could be wrong - there's a way to find out...

If rich Arab States bought and donated useless desert land to the Palestinians (the kind of land Israel had to start with) we would all discover the answer....

Good idea. But the Saudis and their pals much prefer to spend the money building more and more terrorist training schools and camps all around the world wherever they can. Plus mosques specially staffed with their own extremely radicalized Wahhabi islamoNazi - ish “ clerics “.

If a harmless, unarmed regional debating society like the Arab League is opposed to the Palestinians granting Jewish statehood to Israel, imagine how much more strongly opposed the Palestinian government itself, which is ruled by the terrorist PLO, must be to such a proposal.

The minute PLO president Mahmoud Abbas would touch his pen to a treaty recognizing Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state, every Palestinian area from the West Bank to Gaza would erupt in fiery protests that would make the recent Ukrainian disturbances look like a Sunday picnic.

Which is exactly why Mr. Abbas yesterday stated once again categorically that ‘’no way’’ would he agree to granting Israel Jewish-state recognition. So, unless Obama forces him to the negotiating table to do so, the peace process is over. Only those who believe Obama and John Kerry are crazy enough to do such a thing can have any hope of achieving peace through the continuing Oslo-based peace process that has failed miserably for more than twenty years.

The nicest thing about giving Palestinians their own land (Arabs DO have millions of acres of useless land they don't need - check out a map) is it would also clean up the need for terrorist training schools ... You make a good point with that faithhopecharity. If Arabs really want peace - as they say - they'd be thrilled.

This plan would give Arabs that opportunity.

Also, knowing how much money the world spends on 'peace talks' in the region - we'd all save money by 'chipping in' and buy Palestinians their own country. Kerry and dems love giving money away - and this plan might actually be an 'investment'...

Jordan gives up some useless land on one side of their country that they get back from other neighboring Arab States on the other side...Arabs donate land - we give cash... The Arab world 'pays' Jordon - and we all live in peace. Or we discover that Arabs don't care about peace, Palestinians, or anything except stoking the fires of their hatred. It'd be interesting to find out.
