At the risk of sounding like an old fogey, it appears that the current younger generation (Millenials, or whatever you want to call them) are the most easily indoctrinated, mindless, trend-driven lemmings that ever graced the earth.

I can’t even imagine 8-10ft per year. Having lived in Niagara Falls for 2yrs, we had 110” one year and it was a mess. The southern states are getting hammered by 1-3”, or more, and just aren’t used to or prepared for it. The road carnage down there is sad. I’ve had enough for this season.

It’s called paying the bills for airtime. If he pays for the national audience vs local affiliate audience time to promote his books, what’s your gripe with that? And you used “poetic license” to attack adguy, just how?

I posted 3 days ago that it was hijacked, terrorists had pilots dump fuel and they landed at a pre-arranged, islamist-friendly airstrip after they made the left turn at low altitude to avoid radar. Now I doubt it; sounded good at the time. Heh. There’s an INTELSAT somewhere which saw it all happen...
now my gut says hijacked plane....too much had to and did happen in planning....that plane is on the ground and my next guess is bad for passengers
CH-but consider this...why haven’t/didn’t we hear from the passengers if funny stuff started happening on the plane? That was the big thing about 9-11, all the passengers making phone calls. Something is just so wierd and off about this situation.

Sorry, you are wrong again. If adguy was using poetic license he should have used an apostrophe at the end of the word as well as some form of punctuation. Use grammar much?
By the way why are you speaking for adguy? Is he incapable of defending himself?
As an aside: I turned Rush off earlier today and went over to satellite radio and lo and behold there was a genuine commercial, a real one with an announcer, promoting Rush's book. That is the way to do it, use real commercials and Rush can stick with the topics at hand.
And not one of you has spoke to the issue I brought up in my original post, namely, Rush is wasting precious time in endless self promotion.
One last comment: Ever notice how the number of comments posted in this daily thread dwindle when he wastes time on: Apple computer, the NFL and golf? If he has a topical, stimulating show, the number of posts soars. It is the perfect barometer for how interesting his show was for that day.
