Good darned point; I hadn’t though about that. Unless all cellphones were collected at gunpoint after take-off, or disabled electronically, someone (239 people) would have tried to call out for help or to alert about a hijacking.
But aren’t all cellphones prohibited in airplanes, or is that just in the US? Or is it just proposed?
I’m still thinking it was a hijacking, as I did on Sunday. Wiggers (Uighurs) ot islamists or who?
If it crashed on land, maybe the jungles’ canopy swallowed it. If it crashed in the sea, there’d maybe be “something” still floating on the surface, besides miles-long oil slicks.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot and think that it may be a case like Shanksville only in the Pacfic ocean instead of a field in PA. I’m not enough of a techie to answer the cell phone question. But why have they not found anything but oil? I can’t answer that, so maybe it did land someplace. It’s a baffling mystery. It could be both hijacking and crash. Some of these terrorists are big klutzes, like the underwear bomber.
There are too many loose ends and pieces missing o figure this one out, so far. But if you can work your way thru this thread, there are some very interesting theories and facts in it.
