Actually Michigan has a voter ID law. Its not as strong as I would like but it helps.
We have a “Must ask” law which means they must ask to see ID. You don’t have to show it but you do have to sign an affidavit if you don’t show an ID. It provides a paper trail if anyone decides to check.
I kinda wonder if that isn’t how they tracked this down. If someone voted in her name they either had to look like her and use her ID or vote without it and sign her name.
The other question has to do with the post office.
Since she picked up her mail there instead of having it delivered, wouldn’t the fact that someone hasn’t picked up the mail in a couple of years cause someone to take notice and say something to someone???
And what do they mean when they say she picked up her mail at the post office??? Does that mean that she had a PO Box??? Don’t PO Boxes have to be paid for annually???
