“Budapest Memorandum signed by former President Bill Clinton in 1994.”

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/02/28/fact-check-could-a-little-known-international-agreement-force-u-s-britain-into-war-with-russia/

Sir Tony Brenton, who served as a British ambassador from 2004 to 2008, said war is certainly on the table if it’s determined that the Budapest Memorandum is “legally binding.”

“According to the Daily Mail, Kiev has asked that the agreement be honored as it claims its borders have been violated.”

so, perhaps an “agreement” might be the document that pulls us into this, along with our participation in NATO...

Praying that WWIII does NOT break out...for ANY of us!!!

Budapest Memorandum

It is not a treaty and even if it was, in order to be “legally binding”, it should had been presented and approved by the Senate, which never happened.

Anything signed by Bill Clinton isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

A “memorandum” signed by a President is not a treaty, which requires ratification by Congress. Who would determine that it’s “legally binding”? If it wasn’t agreed to by NATO, the UN Security Council, or under another treaty in which the U.S. is obligated, this is meaningless. I could see it being used as an excuse to go to war, but definitely not a mandate to force us into war.
