NBC News President Deborah Turness is in Washington, D.C., this week and will meet with "Meet the Press" host David Gregory and executive producer Rob Yarin to discuss changes to the format of the show, network sources said Monday.
The meeting, which will take place on Thursday, is part of Turness's ongoing effort to improve "Meet the Press," which has suffered in recent years and came in third place behind ABC's "This Week" and CBS's "Face the Nation" last quarter.

I agree. Russert wasn't quite the phony jackass Gregory is or the pompous gasbag Bob Scheiffer is.
Nonetheless he "interviewed" liberals and he attacked and grilled conservatives.
Our pathetic conservatives just seemed to consider it a great honor that he had them on at all.
This kid is being groomed. His whole life has been molded for politics. Ronan, sets off my alarm bells.

Of course he was. He was a big lib that would interview Limbaugh, a big lib that would ask honest questions. He was a classy host of MTP and acted like a journalist rather than a party hack. David Gregory is a presstitute.

Interesting to me that they didn’t include Fox News Sunday in the ratings (though, it is Politico).
