I’m am going to go out on a limb again and say the following.
This aircraft is going to be used in a major terrorist op against the US before the November 2014 elections in order to save the Dems’ butts.
What was loaded on the plane?
Diamonds/gold/more?
Maybe the real purpose was just a heist of valuables ala the movie Die Hard?

Miami in ruins might put a damper on the elections.
But, that would mean that the Dems are smart enough to organize an attack like this. Hmmm. They can’t even make a web site work.
On the other hand, Dems do seem capable at destroying things.
My understanding is that it has to be flying again soon. Or systems will break down.
