Zell Miller was once asked if he had left the Democratic party and he replied that the Democratic party had left him.
After 37 years of party activism and donations, I said the exact same thing about the Republicans in January 2013 and did the same thing. I feel so much better now...
I think that if I were going to identify with any party right now (I'm not but if I were) it'd be Libertarian.
