I presume you mean "liberal." That would of course be historically correct. The Party of Lincoln was the first to not only accept blacks (former slaves) as members, they also seated former slaves into the U.S. Congress in the post Civil War era. Democrats (former slave owners) often left the chamber when such a representative was present. Let's not forget the good ol' boys in the RAT party and their connection to the creation of the KKK. This is history that never seems to get repeated in these days of revisionist teachings. This is the true threat of Common Core style programs. Like how the first serious gun control efforts since the American Revolution were aimed (pardon the pun) directly at former slaves in the southern states under the state level black codes and Jim Crow laws of the era. None of these laws was considered to be unconstitutional for over 100 years because the Amendments were solely applicable to the federal government and not the states under the doctrine of incorporation.
“Liberal” used to be a good thing, until the Left hijacked the term.
I did mean liberal of course, unfortunately my fingers seem to have a mind of their own these days. I used to type sixty words a minute on a manual typewriter without errors, now I make sixty errors a minute on an electric keyboard. I usually proofread about fourteen times before posting but I failed at proofreading on that one.
Modern technology is so great, in my youth I never imagined that one day my typos would be made available to so many people.
