.. I survived w/o the 'net prior to 1990, and can likely do so again .. at this point it's about become a spam saturated fustercluck anyway.

I lived happily before internet also, can do it again if necessary.

I've always thought there would be another new invention to take the place of the ‘net eventually anyway. Can't imagine what it would be, but I never imagined the internet either. Others will do the inventing, and this “giving up control” might spur them on.
