Lol! Could be. These north-east pol’s of both parties think that because they have strong followings in their respective locals that they have the same depth and width out in what they so contemptuously refer to as fly over country. But, once they start doing some serious poll testing most realize that “that dog won’t hunt” out here. Of course most of them don’t have a clue what that means - which makes my point :)
My only disagree with you would be:
Obama won not only in 2008 when the media relentlessly went after Bush and people were being told by the New Speaker of the House and the new Senate Majority Leader that “the war in Iraq was lost”, but much to my surprise he won again in 2012 when the dems were beaten badly in 2010.
My only conclusion is there are now enough idiots who vote in Presidential elections to forever give the vote to bleeding heart democrats and celebrities forever.
At least they do not vote in off year elections, so we can build up conservative numbers in Congress this Fall.
But seriously, I think the presidency is gone forever. Trump could turn out to be the best we can get. Otherwise, say hello to Madame President Clinton.
