Is it known why the connection was not established with the satellite? MH370 pinged, why didn’t satellite answer and establish a connection?
Maybe it did but because pilot had disabled ACARS there was no data to send.
The official story is the sat was receiving MAL craft pings but the airline didn’t subscribe to the service.
Someone also mentioned a few days ago that engaging the landing gear sends a ping.. and no such ping was ever received.
