I was under the impression this area was searched early on. And by us, as in the U.S. With likely more advanced aircraft than anyone else was using, and a ship if I recall correctly.

Luggage was not found. The ship was told to be on the lookout for luggage. It was translated wrong.

Again, why did it take 2+ days from this being found by Reddit user for a ship to be sent?

So the 777 is going to float on its side near the surface like that, a week after it crashes???

They can rewind the weather sats to look for the splashdown.

Oh boy, another mixup due to a mis-translation.....

if I read this latest one correctly, they were told to keep an eye out, they did, and they didn’t see anything.

Back to the original point, keep looking in that wider area and also that narrow corridor that might have been used to avoid detection.

IF it crashed at a shallow angle and “only” ripped off its wings, and IF it is in the shallow end of the pool, and IF it is on it’s side, THEN resting on the bottom of a 100 ft deep sea, the fuselage would only have 80 feet of water over it. Less IF it’s not flat on the bottom.

Lots of IFs there...

“It has also been revealed that the pilot’s wife and three children moved out of the family home the day before the plane went missing.”

This story would be interesting if you had ALL of the facts at your command and could lay them out and muse over them but I have never seen anything as convoluted and contradictory as this “story” as it has unfolded.

The theory of the plane being at the bottom of the Strait of Malacca will be debunked very quickly. That area has been scoured and sonar’ed no end. And besides, why would the pilot feel the need to turn off transponders if he was going to crash his plane so quickly ? What’s at the bottom of the ocean could be anything. It’s a very heavily traveled shipping route.

OTOH, if it is there someone has some very serious 'splainin' to do on why the black box pingers didn't trigger.
