It’s not a “bad thing” to have the pilots of passenger airliners to be very knowledgeable about flying and about flying their plane.

In other words, I’m not going to say, for the flight that I’m on ... “Please give me the most ignorant pilot you have for flying the plane I’m on, because I’m fearful of getting a pilot who knows too much about this plane!” ... LOL ...

I agree. But I just find it interesting that these pilots were both Muslim, and the info that keeps coming out, is about how the instruments were manipulated in some way, and could only be done so, by someone IN the cockpit, who knew a lot about how to operate those instruments.

I personally, find the pilots suspicious in this.

While I too want a well trained and educated pilot, driving the plane, I also appreciate a well trained and educated doctor, if I ever need one for medical care.

But would I expect to find, or even consider it normal, for a doctor to have an operating room in their home? No!

Nor do I expect, or do I find it normal, for a pilot to have a decked out pilot simulation set up at home.
