Short version. When my daughter did her senior paper on the Revolutionary war. It ...ended... with Paul Revere’s ride. I asked her where the rest of the ...you know ACTUAL WAR was. Are you ready?
“That’s all they taught us Dad.”
So I taught her the rest of what she didn’t know. Oh, and they would only grade on what was taught so she HAD to avoid the rest.
That was in the mid 2000s.
That would be it for me. I would never darken the doors of that school again.
