Considering it was the neo-Nazis that took down the former government along with some IMF thugs supported by Obama, I question the purpose of this article by Forbes. The IMF wanted the Ukrainian banks, and they started this mess, not Putin. And they picked the right time, right when Putin’s hands were tied up with the Olympics and he couldn’t make a move to stop them.

Additionally it has overtones of Zimbabwe emerging - from what I have read only ethnic Ukrainians can own land. They plan to take all the land and give some of it back to only ethnic ( must have born there ) Ukrainians. With government stipulations. 'It's not really your land, it belongs to Ukraine but you can use and keep it in your family until you violate one of our rules'.

But even that is not enough if you are Jewish or dark skinned - that rules you out for that ethnic label.

I see Putin says the Svoboda guy fought with the chechens and has effectively issued a warrant for his and his buddies arrest. You can't beat Putin at chess or unique ways to solve a problem.

“The IMF wanted the Ukrainian banks, and they started this mess”

Not quite correct....

We KNOW that the Ukraine was destabilized by Open Society NGO’s, with the help of the Obama Administration’s Ambassador to Europe, using the same strategy they have used to cause chaos in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, and Syria.

Remember, Russia has been warning for a couple of years now that “Certain people in the West” were trying to destabilize Eastern Europe for “nefarious means”. Russia has even gone so far as to expel USAID, and the Open Society NGO’s a year ago.

The Russians knew this was coming, and the only people surprised that Putin did act when Ukraine finally fell apart are the Western Press, that have been too busy licking Obama’s shoes to dare print anything that might make him look like a foreign policy fool.

Crimea is too important to Russia, historically and economically, to allow it to be cut off permanently, which was possible with the new “leadership” in Ukraine.

"...neo-Nazis..." Really? You paint with a broad brush. Putler (as he is called in Ukraine) is the Nazi and Yanukovych is the thug. These are their victims.
