When was that? I don't recall hearing about George Washington's medical records when he ran, or Abraham Lincoln's. FDR's condition was kept secret, as was JFK's. As far as I can find, Reagan was the first candidate to release his medical records, when his age was made an issue. I'm not sure you can point to any Golden Age of American Freedom when this was an expected standard.
I stand corrected. I was thinking back to the Ford/Carter/Reagan days when politicians were held accountable.
The sanctimony of the post-Watergate Left made me puke. But, dang. It turned out to be a good thing. The Clintons destroyed it for our lifetimes. Now we're all back to worshipping power.
