I agree. Kaliningrad is the key to reclaiming the Baltic states
All this talk is distracting Obama from whether Louisville will knock out Wichita State in round three.
They’re not differentiating when speaking to me.
Why? Kaliningrad is already Russian.
Hello Cronos.....I understand they are considering increasing Nato in the Baltic countries to calm them down...already did so with jets and several hundred troops...but no doubt they expect more.
Looks like EU ‘s not signing any ‘economic’ agreements with Ukraines government until there’s a new functional government there, which remains to be seen if possible. The crew now heading Ukraine are not going to let the power they have currently go easily into the night IMO....and there’s much instability throughout Ukraine the current government is not able to control.
The problem they have is most of their Parliament left and would not serve under those who assumed office...so they have no “controls” on anything in needing experienced managers of....They're even advertising on line for people to take positions! I think Ukraine is definately going to get the short end of the stick, and their high expectations will take a blow as they see more and more the EU drag their feet in assisting them.
What, no mention of the Bulgarian gulags the Soviets set up?

From Kaliningrad, the Russians could threaten Lithuania and maybe Poland.
Your right, Putin is no fool. A man doesn’t rise to the rank of Colonel in the KGB by being a fool.
And while we have to endure baraq for another 3 years, the rest of the world knows that they have 3 years to do what they want.
To get all “tecnical”, treaties that are ratified by the Senate carry the same weight as a Constitutional amendment.
Not honoring the NATO treaty would be a reason for impeachment. Not that the senate would go along with it. But, keep in mind the Senators are mostly going to be in office long after Obama is gone. Both would have to deal with that mess.
Ask an Indian about Treaties.
Valid point...
Neither Bulgaria or Lithuania are a match for Russia militarily. By the same token, Putin isn’t going to be able to walk in and take what he wants without a shot. Is he ready for that?
Poland will not stand idly by.
