There was a post within the first few days that showed a radar track disappearing off of the northeast coast of Vietnam.

I'm not talking about what time the plane disappeared, or turned to the southwest, or checked out for the night. I'm talking about the actual time it was REPORTED missing

I've looked at more than a dozen "timelines". I've looked at the early coverage. I cannot find anywhere that tells us exactly what time the Beijing tower reported the plane missing. The pilot said goodnight at about 1:20 a.m. The plane was scheduled to land at 8:20 a.m. Were they looking for it during those six or seven hours? Did Beijing ever call the Kuala Lumpur tower to find out why they didn't have it on radar? If they did, what time?

Best I can tell, no one missed the plane till it didn't show up for it's scheduled arrival. Heck, for all we know, it was a Beijing baggage crew calling to find out where the heck the plane was they were supposed to unload!
