CorporateStepsister is more right than some of you seem to be comfortable with. The analogy of the "alcoholic who must hit bottom before recovery" is true. This nation of ours is now intoxicated by the siren song of "where's my free $hit" - and as anyone who has dealt with substance abuse will tell you, you can't help the addict until the addict has lost it all.
Everyone talks about it; everyone feels it; everyone sees and reads it: there is something primordially wrong with the nation. They can't put their finger on it, they can't lay a name to it, but they all know it's wrong, that it's not the way it's supposed to be.
The Tree of Liberty has root rot, and the tree surgeon is nowhere in sight. But that tree is still putting forth seedlings which can be nurtured elsewhere until a mighty grove emerges once again. The Tree of Liberty does not grown naturally; those seedlings are born out of desperation and need, when the great tree must renew itself. That time of germination is now upon us.
Now, maybe CS said things that rile you and things that are repugnant to your sensibilities, but that doesn't take away from the rightness of the words. The USA, in its current incarnation as the United Socialist States of America, cannot be allowed to continue. The USSA is bankrupting us financially and morally. If you would restore the words of Jefferson, Madison and Patrick Henry, you must first silence the words of Cloward, Piven and Alinksy.
The big question now is, "How Do You Do That?"
It WILL NOT be done at the ballot box. Your rage should be directed against those Pollyanna naive fools who still cling to the notion that the Republic will be restored complete with rainbow skies, chocolate rivers and children playing with gumdrop smiles, just as long as we get "our people" in the next selection cycle.
It WILL NOT be done by the letter box. Another Pollyanna notion is that your selected officials actually listen to your online petitions and emails. Divest yourselves from that quaint fantasy.
Someone mentioned that this nation split apart once before. I submit to you that it's happened TWICE: once during the 19th-Century conflict, and again during the 1960's. The second simply didn't get the body count of the first, but the success of the second cannot be denied; this nation is now, three generations later, fractured along ever conceivable fault line. It will take only one or two more strokes of the hammer to shatter the gemstone.
The Great Societal Reset is upon us.

We save what IS worth saving, however we have to.
Amen!... But the thing nagging at the back of my mind is that someone, some intelligence has systematically brought this Republic to these ends and has plans for US after the reset. THAT is why I keep telling folks that the billions of bullets and distributed MRAPs are not for the crumbling stage, they are precisely stationed to deal with the ‘after collapse and devastation’ stage. Nothing pascifies a people like starvation, disease, and death on a massive scale, as Stalin so aptly proved following WWII.
But if that's the case, dammit, let's get busy! If Claire Wolfe's alarm clock is ringing, maybe it's time to make the morning coffee. Get to it, and quit whining! What sickens me is the constant moaning and groaning of the surrender monkey chorus, Stepsister and ForYourChildren among them, along with our "buddy" Alex.
For you surrender monkeys, shut up the whining, already! It's getting pretty damn old for one, secondly, our enemies are reading these same posts and being emboldened by your chickenheartedness, and lastly, I'm not sure you hand wringing newbie wimps aren't really Leftist trolls, being paid by the Obammunists to come on forums like FReep and TB2K to dispirit us. Chicken crap cowards who repeat the "America is finished" narrative are not only irritating as hell, but are doing real damage to our side's resolve. This helps our enemies win the psychological war before things eve get started.
We need to show strength and resolve, not cowardice in the face of the very dangers that are threatening to bury our Republic once and for all. Those poor, cowardly souls who do nothing but weep and whine are the useful idiots of the Leftists, and they need to shut the hell up before they do more damage to our cause. Stepsister and FYC, if you believe America is finished and there's nothing in our future but chains and slavery, then by all means, feel free to keep it to yourself. There are wavering conservatives reading your posts and losing their guts because they see you've lost yours. Cowardice is infectious; stop spreading the virus.
