Vernon Jarrett and Frank Marshall were best buds for years and years.

I knew there had to be a connection. There always is at this level.

I see they go all the way back to 1948:

Both Davis and Jarrett worked on the radical Chicago Defender newspaper and in 1948, both served on the publicity committee of the Citizens’ Committee to Aid Packing-House Workers.

It might be worthwhile to look for any connections between Valerie's parents and these two.

You bet there’s a connection. It can be no coincidence that FMD turns up to be connected to Obama through Hawaii and Jarrett through Chicago. It sure makes me think that Barry was groomed for this a long time ago. It still amazes me that they pulled it off.
